MIGUEL COTTO WAS KNOCKED OUT.
BUT HE REMAINS UNDEFEATED.
Miguel Cotto was the unbeaten WBA welterweight champion before he was beaten bloody and dethroned by Antonio Margarito in July 2008.
In a single knockout punch, Cotto fell to his knees as blood dripped down his face from a deep gash over his left eye. A year later Margarito was caught with illegal hand wraps containing sulfur and calcium which, when combined with sweat, turn into rock hard plaster. Margarito’s licence was revoked but the damage had already been done.

In fact, during Armstrong’s seven-year streak, Joseba Bolekiwas the only runner-up to have not been found guilty of doping. He never got the gold medal he deserved, because he never stood a chance.
